Our Community Council met to set the following funding priorities to support three main goals. The first goal, having all of our students progress at least 1 full academic year in all of their reading and writing skills, was addressed by using $59,040 to hire a .5 Reading Interventionist and three part time Reading Para Professionals to support our targeted reading and writing goals in our school\u2019s WIN Intervention program. The second goal, to provide quality art instruction and interaction for all students Kindergarten to 5th grade taught by a certified teacher, was met by hiring a qualified part-time art instructor at a cost of $12.000. The third goal, enhancing the learning experience with quality sound \/voice equipment ensuring the best opportunity for hearing instruction, was addressed by using $19,406 to purchase sound\/voice enhancement systems for half of our classrooms that still need them. The 4th goal, having all of our students progress at least 1 full academic year their math skills, was supported by using $3,677 to\u00a0 purchase ST Math, a computer program, to assist with Math instruction. This plan is created annually by analyzing our school testing data to determine the greatest academic need. The money our school receives from the School LAND Trust fund is allocated according to our plan. Over the years our school has purchased technology to support student learning, books for our leveled library, math manipulatives, science materials, and we\u2019ve been able to hire additional personnel to support targeted learning in small groups. Our school is grateful for the School LAND Trust program and the opportunity we have as a school to allocate the funds to support our targeted and specific needs. The Council assists with school improvement, and make decisions on how to best spend the Trust LANDS funding. This plan is created annually by analyzing our school testing data to determine the greatest academic need. The money our school receives from the School LAND Trust fund is allocated according to our plan. Over the years our school has purchased technology to support student learning, books for our leveled library, math manipulatives, science materials, and we\\u2019ve been able to hire additional personnel to support targeted learning in small groups. Our school is grateful for the School LAND Trust program and the opportunity we have as a school to allocate the funds to support our targeted and specific needs. The Council assists with school improvement, and make decisions on how to best spend the Trust LANDS funding.
